Free Medical Services in 2022

January 5, 2022 – A productive partnership with the Beaufort-Jasper Volunteers in Medicine 501c3 will make free medical care available in Jasper County throughout 2022.

Jubilee Community Partnership is expanding its investment in the Ridgeland medical clinic reopened in 2021 to provide free care to uninsured patients. This care includes sophisticated medical offerings like diabetes management, cardiology, dental treatment, and prescription drugs.

The clinic is conveniently located directly across the street from the City Police Department. Patients who lack cars sometimes arrive on bicycles or on foot. The staff, a mix of paid employees and volunteers, provide attentive service to every client.

In later 2021, after the Ridgeland clinic reopened, nearly 400 medical appointments were completed. That number will expand dramatically in 2022 as the clinic adds medical personnel and volunteers, and increases public awareness of the availability of its free, high-quality services.
