Community Health Visitors

January 6, 2022 – In Jasper County, the institutional host for the community health workers deployed to Hispanic families by the PASOs program is BJH Comp Health. From offices at Comp Health, these traveling aides visit households to dispense help on a wide range of family, health, and educational issues.

These bilingual, bicultural ambassadors build trust with immigrant families, and dispense vital information, assistance, and social services across our region.

The Jasper Community Partnership is pleased to once again work with BJH Comp Health, with management support from Jubilee ally Yajaira Uzcategui, to keep Jasper County’s PASOs workers in the field.
