Pregnancy Center and Clinic of the Lowcountry

March 30, 2021 – Jubilee Community Partnership recently offered support to Pregnancy Center and Clinic of the Lowcountry to allow them to bring the obstetric and prenatal care they currently offer in Beaufort County to a Jasper County clinic as well.

Pregnancy Center and Clinic of the Lowcountry is a nonprofit that operates two medical facilities on Hilton Head Island. Expectant mothers are provided obstetrical services, 16 weeks of free prenatal care, testing, referrals to delivering physicians, educational classes, and baby supplies.

In just the first two months of 2021, 111 women from Jasper county journeyed a couple hours to Hilton Head Island to avail themselves of the Center’s free medical services. Jasper patients will now be able to be treated in their home community, thanks to financial and public-information support from Jubilee Community Partnership.

In collaboration with another Jubilee-supported nonprofit (Bluffton-Jasper Volunteers in Medicine) the Pregnancy Center will operate out of the VIM clinic in Ridgeland every Tuesday, starting July 1, 2021. Full medical and prenatal services will be provided to patients, at no cost, from 8:30 to 4:30. The Ridgeland clinic is located at 11332 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.
